Google Maps April Fools Day Prank

For those of you that missed a chance to use Google Maps on April 1st, 2012, the dot COM pulled an interesting prank on their maps API.

Google maps designed an 8-bit system to display its maps for this years April fools day prank. We had a chance to see the world just how we would've those NES (Nintendo Entertainments System - 1st one) days.

Even Google street view was displayed in 8-bit. Talk about living in an 8-bit gaming world!
